Angela Bassett put on a glamorous display at the 2024 Disney Upfront showcase event at the Javits Center in New York City on Tuesday.
The 65-year-old actress looked red hot in a bold blazer with a plunging neckline and a pair of matching, figure-hugging pants.
Teamed with her chic, monochromatic outfit, she wore metallic gold sandal heels.
For the special occasion, the two-time Golden Globe winner — who appeared to reference her bitter 2023 Oscar loss in March during the season seven premiere of her show 9-1-1 — styled her raven black tresses in soft beach waves and sported a pair of oversize, silver hoop earrings.
Back in March, the Black Panther star was revealed to be one of 14 stars to be honored at the upcoming Disney Legends Awards Ceremony on August 11.

Around the same time, she wore a similar red look as she reflected on her viral crestfallen reaction during her 2023 Oscar loss in an interview with Oprah.
She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Bassett admitted she was 'gobsmacked' when she lost to Everything Everywhere All At Once's Jamie Lee Curtis.
During her chat with Oprah, she said: 'I was gobsmacked!
'It was, of course, a supreme disappointment, and disappointment is human, so ... yes, I was disappointed, and I handled it like a human being.'
The star was branded a 'sore loser' when she was unable to conjure up a smile and refusing to clap after the loss.
During the interview, Oprah said she thought Bassett 'handled it very well.'
'I thought I handled it very well also,' the actress agreed. 'And that was my intention, was to handle it very well.'

The star, who was hoping to win Marvel Studios' first-ever acting Oscar after taking home the Golden Globe, was branded a 'sore loser' when she was unable to conjure up a smile and refusing to clap after the loss.
Following the loss, however, Bassett was named a recipient of an Honorary Award for her career at the 2024 Governor's Awards.
'Across her decades-long career, Angela Bassett has continued to deliver transcendent performances that set new standards in acting,' Academy representatives said about her in a June 2023 press statement.
In the early 90s, she was Oscar nominated for her iconic portrayal of Tina Turner in the biopic What's Love Got to Do With It?
